民音創立

民音（民主音楽協会）は、音楽と舞台芸術を通じた文化交流の促進を目的に、1963年に東京で設立されました。

多様な才能を世界中から集めることで、民音は芸術的な協力と鑑賞のためのプラットフォームを創り出し、人と人との間の溝を埋め、音楽や芸術表現の美しさを通じて結ばれたグローバルなコミュニティを育成し続けています。

民音研究所創立

2014年
民音創立50周年を機に「民音研究所」(MOMRI) が発足しました。MOMRIでは、平和構築の音楽について、学際的なアプローチで研究しています。

MOMRI は、音楽で平和を構築することに取り組む中で、理論、データ、多様な学際的手法、評価をもたらしています。

MOMRIには、エコロジー（生態学）、民族音楽学、社会学、正義、音楽教育、教育、人権、音楽認知]の専門分野を持つ4人の研究員がいます。
MOMRI研究員は、世界規模の会議や展示、出版活動を組織しています。

2014年以来、私たちは音楽による平和構築に取り組む多くの研究者、活動家、音楽家と出会い、共同作業を行ってきました。これらの協力関係は、アイデア、知識、経験を交換し、支援し合うプラットフォームの必要性を示してくれました。

MOMRIハブは、リソースを共有し、情報を収集・整理し、平和構築の音楽の研究をする人たちとつながるためのオープンなデジタルスペースを提供します。

ハブは、過去60年以上にわたる民音の人々の交流促進の取り組みの延長線上にあります。

中心的な願望

2022年10月18日、MOMRIは新たなデジタル・イニシアチブを開始しました。MOMRIハブと呼ばれるこのウェブサイトでは、平和構築の音楽に関する研究に、より多くの研究者や実践者双方がよりアクセスしやすくし、この新しい分野のネットワークをよりよく提供していきたいです。

将来的には、MOMRIハブを拡張し、この分野で進行中のプロジェクトを紹介するデジタルスペースを提供し、個人がつながり、共有できるようにしたいです。私たちの母体である民音は、音楽を通じて人と人、国と国を結ぶことを目的に、1963年10月18日に設立されました。この59年間、コンサートや会議、ワークショップなどの活動を通じて、100カ国以上とのつながりを築いてきました。

MOMRIでは、音楽と平和構築のために人々を結びつけるこの伝統を、デジタルとオンライン空間の機会を活用することで継承していきたいです。パンデミックにより、世界中の団体が新たなデジタル技術を駆使した取り組みや戦略を追求した結果、オンラインコミュニティーの可能性がさらに浮き彫りになりました。

MOMRIハブを通じて、音楽を通じた平和構築のための活動の入り口を提供したいと思います。また、個人や団体が自身の活動や他の人の活動を支援するためのリソースを共有できる場も提供したいと考えています。MOMRIが8年前に設立されて以来、私たちは平和構築の音楽に取り組んでいる多くの刺激的な個人や団体に出会ってきました。このハブを通じて、他の人たちが互いにつながる手助けができればと願っています。

2018年に実施した調査（アンケート）に参加された方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、これを通じて、多くの方からリソースや機会、新しい人脈にもっとアクセスできるようなスペースを探しているという多くの声を聞きました。

ぜひこのスペースを楽しんでください。このハブの旅への最初の一歩を踏み出し、将来の成長について考えている今、平和構築の音楽に基づいたデジタル実践共同体は、あなたにとってどんな価値があるのか、引き続きご意見を伺いたいと思います。
