Tokiko Mochizuki is the founder and artistic director of Japan Folk Dance NIPPON (est. 2005). She has led intercultural dance initiatives connecting participants from 13 Asian countries through Asia Ren and developed “Future Lab: Festival × SDGs,” an experiential arts-based educational program integrating Japanese festival philosophy with sustainability and peace education. Her work centers on creating participatory cultural spaces where dialogue, empathy, and mutual respect emerge through embodied artistic practice.
