AAD projects aim to generate sustainable economic and societal development, well-being, better living and changes in mentality by playing more on leverage effects than on the volume of committed budgets. AAD provides the necessary impetus and provides funding for the maturation and consolidation of development projects and artistic initiatives linked to them, but still refuses any approach limited to simple assistantship. AAL projects are short/medium term; it is a question of catalysing actions, not of operating them as such.
