Dr. Melissa Martiros is the founder and executive director of OpporTUNEity, an organization that offers programs in higher education, youth, in prison settings, and weekly songwriters circles for formerly incarcerated musicians who participated in their classes while in custody. Her work centers inclusion, belonging, and music-making to strengthen communities.
